We awake to another glorious day - Get ourselves ready and it's time for brekkie.
Today is another transit day,and Nigel has arranged, for those who want to follow him,
a 10 am set off time.
Ed and I are up early as always and we're loaded and ready to go at 9.30 am.
The sat nav is saying its 50 mins to the port but, with some change of direction
and a stop for a break it's nearer to 11 am by the time we get there.
by the side. We join her and wait for the others as we all need to go through together.
Nigel does his stuff, and we're soon heading for our lane at the port.
This is one busy port, and we watch the comings and goings of others on their journeys.
Time to board, and the tour organisers have booked us into reserved seating on deck 9.
It's a 3hs and 45 min crossing to Larvik.
We spend our time between catching a few zzzzzzz's, going out on deck,
and getting a bite to eat at the ship's cafe. T
This is some ferry.... immacculately clean, courteous staff and everything
extremely well organised.
Time for getting off and it's only 5 mins to the Quality Hotel Larvik.
Bikes parked up and it's time for a shower, then a beer. At £19 for two beers there won't
Eating time and we head off to a restaurant on the waters edge.
Very busy but he can accommodate a table for ten.
Pizza and chat and then next door for icecream.....luvly....my favourite.
Great night's craic and we meet up at the hotel for a coffee.
Ed and the boyz go over nxt days route and it's time for bed.
Proper riding starts tomorrow!
