DAY 1 - ESBJERG TO AALBORG

Ferry docked today and we meet with Nigel our tour guide before we hit the road.
Bikes ready and we're off out onto the main road.....and remember to stay on the right!!
Details of route are on the satnav and we head north for our next stopover which is showing 3hrs 40mins away.
We meet one of our group 'Mike' - also on a GS1200, and he has been diverted by the police due to a car crash on the road we have planned to take.  He tags along with us on the trip until we reach the hotel - 'top guy'.

We had met a guy on the ferry (NOT in our group), riding a GS1200- called the colour of his bike DSB (Dog S***Brown).......glad to say he's not with us!

Temps today reached a max of 28 degrees, and averaged about 26 for the day.

What we have seen of Denmark is that it is very flat, very clean, no litter, no graffiti and the people are very welcoming.....and they speak great English which is a BIG bonus!
Super meal at hotel and Eddie met up with a colleague he worked with in one of his airport shops.

Leaving here tomorrow at 10am to catch 12.45 ferry to Norway.

BIKES, BIKES, BIKES
